TODD LEA
Builder - Owner/Operator
With over 25 years of industry experience under his belt, Todd Lea is a fully licensed and experienced builder who brings extensive expertise to every project. As a second -generation carpenter and builder and from a family of builder/carpenters, he has honed his craft since childhood and can skilfully take on all manner of building tasks. Having obtained his medium rise supervisor’s ticket, Todd has effectively overseen large construction projects and managed crews of multiple
tradespeople and has built a strong reputation and network throughout Rockhampton, Southeast Queensland and wider Queensland.
While Todd has supervised big commercial builds and delivered these projects with professionalism and precision, his passion truly lies with hands-on residential projects where quality and product satisfaction is key. From the initial site inspection and quotations to final walkthrough and handover, Todd oversees each step to ensure adherence to the Australian Building Standards, all building codes and Council regulations. Todd’s wealth of experience allows him to accurately scope and quote projects, secure all necessary permits, supervise tradespeople, enforce best practices on-site, and manage any issues as they arise. Todd is also experienced and ticketed in all aspects of civil and machinery operation.
As a builder who enjoys being on the tools himself, Todd takes great pride in the final product. His attention to detail ensures clients can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with an expertly crafted, fully compliant new build or renovation. Todd truly enjoys transforming our clients’ visions into move-in ready spaces that exceed every expectation. His hands-on approach, technical knowledge and commitment to quality make him an invaluable construction professional.
SHERRI DAWSON
Administration
With a background in education, Sherri Dawson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Having renovated several houses herself, Sherri has firsthand experience with the challenges and rewards involved in such projects. She understands what our clients are going through.
Sherri enjoys working directly with clients to design and create their ideal homes and can provide expert advice on fixtures and fittings for bathrooms and kitchens, colour palettes, or landscaping to help bring your vision to life. She believes that effective communication and punctuality are key for builders.
As the proud owner of Fitstop Rockhampton, a gym she built from the ground up into a thriving business, Sherri understands what it takes to be successful. Todd is grateful to have his wife on the Regional Builders Queensland team.
